Felicity T. Enders, PhD, MPH

Dr. Felicity Enders is a Professor of Biostatistics at Mayo Clinic. From 2017 to 2021, she served as Head of Mayo Clinic’s Section for Clinical Statistics. She is a consulting statistician with 180+ publications, an H-index 60+, 12K+ citations, and 25+ articles with 100 or more citations.

Dr. Enders’ personal research focuses on educating researchers. For about 15 years, this took the form of statistics education, in which she leveraged her award-winning expertise as a statistics educator to develop a national statistics education research team. While this team is ongoing, Dr. Enders’ research interests have evolved to focus on equity.

Dr. Enders is the Director of the Mayo Clinic Office for Research Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity; Associate Director of the Center for Clinical and Translational Science; and Deputy Director for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity in the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center. In addition, Dr. Enders is lead statistician for the statewide Center for Chronic Disease Reduction and Equity Promotion Across Minnesota (C2DREAM), through which she is involved in the national Health Equity Action Network.

Dr. Enders is well known nationally, including as the inaugural chair of the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion special interest group of the Association for Clinical and Translational Science. She is a fellow of the American Statistical Association and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Association for Clinical and Translational Science. In 2024, Dr. Enders’ innovative contributions to equity were recognized by the Association for Clinical and Translational Science with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
