Health Equity Engineering (HEE) aims to improve population health outcomes by regularly screening patients for risk of accelerated aging and implementing targeted interventions.
As populations who frequently experience health disparities are also at risk of accelerated aging, HEE is designed to improve health equity at the population level through individual-level interventions.
A critical aspect of HEE is that it be applied for all individuals. This equal treatment at the start is anticipated to yield differential benefits for populations at high risk of accelerated aging.
